Back when I was younger, in middle school and in high school, my parents got me to, or more-so forced me, to take piano lessons. Young and inexperienced I didn’t take the lessons to heart and didn’t practice enough to make my study as worthwhile as it could have been. This is the cruel realization as you get older.
Nevertheless, I am now trying to resurrect past knowledge of piano, make new progress, and come up with a better learning strategy. I am a big fan of classical music and particularly enjoy Bach - preludes, fugues, cantatas, or anything really, played on whatever instrument, although I would be hard pressed to find a sound more enjoyable than a Bach fugue played on a large church organ.
With that said, I will try to make it my project to learn as many Bach preludes from his Well-Tempered Clavier, and with time possibly some fugues.
